Continuing in my practical alt text series, in this post I’ll show you how to add alt text to images in Notion.
- Upload your image to your Notion page.

- You can access the alt text area in one of two ways.
- The Alt text box appears in the upper far left of your Notion screen.

- Type your alt text into the Add alt text… field and press Enter.

- A small white box with the letters ALT now displays in the bottom right corner of your image to indicate that the image has alt text.

- Hovering your mouse pointer over the white box with the ALT letters displays a message that shows the alt text you added to the image followed by Click to view and edit alt text.

- If you click on the white box with ALT letters, it opens the Add alt text box where you can edit your alt text and press Enter to update it.
